The 1st Annual Hometown Haunt will take place on Monday, October 31 beginning at 5:00 pm in downtown Jasper, Arkansas.
The Hometown Haunt includes:
*Haunted Jail Tours in the Historic Newton County Jail
*Scares on the Square scarecrow display on the courthouse lawn and Ghost Stories by Author Gary Weibye in the courthouse gazebo
*Trunk or Treats by the Jasper First Baptist Church, Newton County Chamber of Commerce and Newton County Senior Center
*The Breedlove Haunted Estate sponsored by the Jasper/Newton County Kiwanis
*Nightmares on Elm Street movie, bonfire, and refreshments at the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department
*Thriller Moves Street Dance
*Trick or Treating at local businesses and neighborhoods
*Cake Walk and Costume Contest at the Newton County Senior Center
A hayride shuttle sponsored by the Jasper Advertising and Promotions Commission and Circle PM Construction will be available throughout the night. The list of activities continues to grow! You won't want to miss this family-friendly, hometown fright night on Halloween in downtown Jasper.
